Kait-lah (kait is Malay for knit/crochet and lah is a colloquial Malaysian term) is a small, one-woman business that produces handcrochet bags and small pieces.

Established in 2024 to help me keep busy after quitting my full time job in Malaysia to be a SAHM, I produce only a few pieces at a item while trying to maintain its quality.

I generally don't take custom or personalised orders as my yarn supply is somewhat limited and unique to what I can find BUT I am open to discussion. Do drop me a message if you have something in mind. Maybe I can accommodate your request.

Note that custom and personalised orders will require full payment upfront and upon confirmation of the order itself.

Depending on the complexity and nature of the order, custom orders can take up to three weeks to complete.

Caring for handmade items is quite simple and easy.

1) Remove all items prior to washing.
2) If handwashing - gently hand wash in cool to lukewarm water (below 40C). Drain and wrap up in a towel to remove excess moisture (search wet blocking with towel for tips).
3) If machine washing - use delicate cycle and a laundry bag. Keep temperatures below 40C.
4) Dry flat.

Note: Always wash handmade crochet bags separately.
